Plastic grass grid (also called grass paver or grass paving grid) is widely used in fire lanes, ecological parking lots, slope protection and residential greening. This case records a bulk shipment of HDPE grass grids from our factory to a landscape project site.

1. Project Background
The contractor needed a permeable paving solution for an ecological parking area and a sloped green belt. The design required a modular grid that could bear vehicle loads while allowing grass to grow through the cells, reducing surface runoff and heat island effect.
2. Product Supplied
- Material: HDPE (high-density polyethylene), UV-stabilized
- Structure: interlocking honeycomb cells, snap-fit connection
- Color: green (matches surrounding landscape)
- Packing: strapped bundles on pallets, protected from sunlight during transit
3. Packaging and Loading
Each bundle is strapped with polypropylene bands to keep the modules aligned and prevent shifting during long-distance transport. Palletized loading allows quick unloading with a forklift at the site, reducing handling damage and labor cost.
4. Installation Notes
- Prepare a compacted gravel base (typically 150-200 mm) and level the surface.
- Lay a geotextile separator to prevent soil mixing into the gravel layer.
- Place the grass grid modules and connect them with the snap-fit system.
- Fill the cells with topsoil and sow grass seed or lay sod.
- Water regularly and avoid heavy traffic until the grass is established.
5. Why Choose Factory Direct Supply
Buying directly from the manufacturer cuts out middlemen, ensures consistent material quality, and allows custom color or size adjustments for large orders. For projects over 500 square meters, container or truckload delivery can be arranged with stable lead times.
