Therefore, during construction, we still need to pay attention to this situation.
During the laying process of anti-seepage geomembrane, both cold and hot situations will occur. Therefore, in construction, we need to pay attention to such situations. If it is a hot day, we try to make the membrane material more relaxed, so that when the temperature drops and causes the membrane material to shrink, the problem of the membrane material being tightened can be effectively avoided. When constructing in cold areas, only normal laying is needed. Of course, another point to note is that during geomembrane construction, only single-sided fixing can be carried out, that is, after fixing one end of the geomembrane, the other end should not be fixed. In this way, when the construction is completely completed, carry out an overall seam welding once, which can keep the geomembrane as a whole in a relaxed state, so that there is enough preventive membrane material shrinkage in cold weather.
Usually, most geomembrane construction sites will use geotextile to protect the upper and lower layers of the membrane material during design. This can effectively prevent direct sunlight from causing the membrane material to stretch frequently, and also form a certain protection for the membrane material in cold weather. Its cooling effect can reach about 15°C.
