How to Carry Out Anti-seepage Treatment for Qujing Geomembrane

Geomembrane construction

Geomembrane as the anti-seepage layer of garbage sites, preventing the seepage of landfill garbage sewage is an important technical link, because whether it is domestic garbage or other solid garbage, only geomembrane can be used as an important means of garbage backfilling. And therefore it is also regarded as a way of domestic garbage risk management. But research shows that even if the construction of modern landfills tries to control quality through the process of construction and design, and achieve the purpose of preventing seepage through management processes, there are still many original problems that have not been solved. Therefore, there is still a certain chance of seepage, because in the process of geomembrane construction or handling, sand holes may still appear.

In the entire process from production to site acceptance of Qujing geomembrane, more or less very fine sand holes will appear, but these sand holes can all be repaired by extrusion welding machines. After the geomembrane is laid, as long as it is carefully inspected and repaired, there will almost be no loopholes. The situation that is prone to damage is during the process of stacking garbage, because when stacking garbage, garbage is poured from high places to low places. Therefore, sharp objects that may appear in the garbage will puncture the membrane material. So solving the dumping problem is also one of the problems to solve geomembrane leakage.

The thickness of waterproof membrane material usually ranges from 0.3-3.0mm. There is almost no use of thickness below 1.5mm for landfills, but it is recommended to use membrane material above 2.0mm, because geomembrane also has to withstand many uncertain forces during use. Therefore, increasing thickness to prevent seepage is also one of the methods, and this thickness is also relatively not easy to cause damage.
