For flower planting, the more important infrastructure is the reservoir, which is an important part of maintaining the entire flower planting system. Therefore, what material to use as the anti-seepage material for the entire water tank is particularly important. Earlier, the material we used was reinforced concrete. From the perspective of cost, it is very high. Usually, a reservoir holding several hundred cubic meters of water requires tens of thousands of yuan to build. But with the rise of domestic manufacturing, there have also been many products that can be used as anti-seepage materials.

For example, polypropylene waterproofing used indoors, it is mainly used in bathrooms and kitchens, mostly for indoor waterproofing. Of course, some people also use this material outdoors. It does not have indoor or outdoor limitations. As long as the construction theme is concrete, or hard surface, and no settlement occurs, it can be used as an anti-seepage material.

For agricultural planting, reservoirs are built either on mountains or in fields, and most will not have hard ground. Therefore, if polypropylene is used as a soft foundation anti-seepage, it may cause settlement of the ground or wall due to water pressure, thereby leading to water leakage.

In addition to polypropylene, there are actually SBS waterproofing membranes or waterproof coatings, etc., but these all require the site to be hardened before use. Therefore, for flower planting, these materials cannotfulfill their role.

And geomembrane is different. It itself has large tensile strength and good flexibility, able to settle with the settlement of the terrain, and also deform with the deformation of the terrain. Therefore, it is feasible for us to use this material for reservoir anti-seepage in flower planting.
