Our company supplied 50,000 square meters of polypropylene non-woven fabric to a landfill and road construction project in Yunnan, used as a separation, filtration and protection layer.
Because the project has high requirements for the separation between the soil layer and the gravel layer, the non-woven fabric needs to have good tensile strength, water permeability and anti-aging performance.
During construction, the non-woven fabric was laid flatly on the leveled foundation, with an overlap width of no less than 20 cm, and fixed with soil bags or nails. Then the gravel or soil was spread on top.
After the project was completed, the non-woven fabric effectively prevented the mixing of soil and gravel layers and played a good filtration and protection role. The customer confirmed that our non-woven fabric has uniform thickness and high strength, and ordered additional quantities.
