Flexible permeable pipe is widely used in subgrade drainage, slope drainage and landfill leachate collection. Its porous wall allows water to enter from all directions while preventing soil particles from entering.
Step 1 - Trench excavation: excavate the drainage trench according to the design, with a longitudinal slope of 0.5%-1% towards the outlet, and level and compact the trench bottom.
Step 2 - Filter layer: lay a layer of geotextile on the trench bottom and sides as a filter layer, then spread 10-15 cm of graded gravel on the bottom.
Step 3 - Pipe laying: lay the flexible permeable pipe on the gravel, connect the sections with sleeves, and backfill gravel around and above the pipe to a certain height to form the drainage layer.
Step 4 - Covering: wrap the upper part of the gravel layer with geotextile, then backfill with soil and compact. The outlet end of the pipe should be connected to the collection well or drainage channel.
