We recently supplied PTFE board to a chemical equipment manufacturer in Yunnan, used for the corrosion-resistant lining of acid storage tanks and reaction vessels, with a total area of about 800 square meters.
Because the tanks store strong acid solutions, the lining material must have excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. PTFE board has excellent chemical stability and can withstand almost all chemical media at high temperatures.
During installation, the PTFE board was welded to the steel tank wall with a special welding gun and PTFE welding rod, forming a continuous corrosion-resistant lining. The welded seams were tested for airtightness.
After the tank was put into use, no corrosion or leakage was found in the lining, and the customer confirmed that the PTFE board has excellent performance and reliable quality, and will continue to purchase in batches.
