We recently supplied 20 tons of steel fiber to a logistics warehouse floor project in Yunnan, used for the steel fiber reinforced concrete floor with a total area of about 15,000 square meters.
Because the warehouse floor needs to bear the load of heavy forklifts, the concrete floor requires high crack resistance and impact resistance. Steel fiber reinforced concrete can replace part of the steel mesh and improve the overall performance of the floor.
During construction, the steel fiber was added to the concrete mixer together with the aggregates and mixed evenly to ensure the fibers were evenly dispersed without clumping. The concrete was then poured and finished with a power trowel.
After curing and testing, the floor showed excellent crack resistance and bearing capacity. The customer confirmed that the steel fiber greatly improved construction efficiency and floor quality, and the project was accepted smoothly.
