A refractory project in Yunnan required aluminum silicate fiber board for the insulation of an industrial kiln, with a total amount of about 800 cubic meters.
We supplied aluminum silicate fiber board with different thickness grades according to the temperature zone of the kiln, and the high-temperature grade products were used in the hottest area.
The delivery was divided into several batches to match the construction progress. Each batch was provided with the factory test report of density and thermal conductivity.
The construction team installed the boards according to the multi-layer staggered joint method, which effectively reduced the heat loss of the kiln surface and improved the energy efficiency.
The customer confirmed that the surface temperature of the kiln decreased significantly and the products were re-ordered for the second kiln of the plant.
