Plastic blind ditch is a drainage material with a three-dimensional porous structure, which replaces the traditional crushed stone blind ditch. It has the advantages of light weight, high strength, good water permeability and easy construction.
Step 1 - Trench excavation: excavate the trench according to the design dimensions, and ensure the bottom has the designed longitudinal slope.
Step 2 - Filter layer: lay geotextile on the trench bottom and sides to prevent soil particles from blocking the blind ditch.
Step 3 - Laying: lay the plastic blind ditch in the trench, butt the sections together, and wrap the surrounding with geotextile. At the turning points, connect with special fittings.
Step 4 - Backfill: backfill with gravel or soil around the blind ditch and compact it. The outlet end should be connected to the collection well or drainage pipe to form a complete drainage system.
