Water storage and drainage board is a roof drainage material with raised dimples, which is laid under the protective layer of the roof to quickly drain accumulated water and prevent water pressure damage to the waterproof layer.
Step 1 - Base treatment: the roof surface should be cleaned and leveled, and the waterproof layer should be inspected to ensure there is no damage or leakage.
Step 2 - Laying: lay the drainage board flat on the waterproof layer with the dimple side facing down (or up according to the design), and the sheets should be butt-jointed tightly. At the junction, use non-woven fabric tape or adhesive to fix the overlapping area.
Step 3 - Filter layer: lay a layer of geotextile (non-woven fabric) on the upper side of the drainage board as a filter layer to prevent soil particles from blocking the drainage channel.
Step 4 - Backfill: spread the planting soil or protective layer on top of the filter layer and compact it gently. The drainage board should not be exposed to direct sunlight for a long time to avoid aging.
