Our company recently supplied rubber waterstop (waterstop strip) to a bridge expansion joint waterproofing project in Yunnan. The project required a total of 1,200 meters of rubber waterstop with a width of 300 mm, used for the deformation joints of the bridge deck and box girder.
Because the bridge is located in a rainy mountainous area, the waterproofing of expansion joints is very important to prevent rainwater from corroding the steel bars inside the concrete. We recommended the rubber waterstop with high elasticity and good low-temperature resistance.
During construction, the waterstop was fixed in the middle of the expansion joint with steel wire, and both sides were poured into the concrete. The special construction team followed our installation guidance to ensure the waterstop was centered and not displaced.
After the concrete was poured and cured, the waterstop formed a complete waterproof barrier in the joint. The customer confirmed that the product quality and delivery time fully met the requirements, and the project was inspected and accepted smoothly.
