Recently our company supplied 500 kg of high-quality HDPE geomembrane welding rods to an aquaculture farm project in Yunnan, used together with 1.5 mm HDPE geomembrane for the anti-seepage liner of 8 fish ponds with a total area of about 12,000 square meters.
Because the farm is located on sandy soil with high groundwater level, the anti-seepage requirement was very strict. We matched the rod diameter (4.0 mm) with the extrusion welding equipment of the construction team and provided the corresponding welding parameter guidance.
During construction, the welders used our rods with the recommended temperature and speed parameters. After completion, the weld seams passed the vacuum box leak test and the tensile strength test reached more than 85% of the membrane base material.
The customer was very satisfied with the stable quality and fast delivery of our rods, and placed a second order for the remaining two ponds. We also provide free welding training and parameter support for large projects.
