Extruded board insulation

For a country with large energy consumption, how to save energy has always been a concern of the construction industry. In building construction, we need to take various measures to improve the sealing of buildings, such as sealing of movable parts (doors and windows) of buildings, insulation interlayers of walls, etc.
Nowadays, buildings are developing, and their construction processes are constantly innovating. Our existing technology is also constantly improving. For energy conservation, we have also adopted the method of internal and external wall insulation. External walls block the penetration of cold and hot air, while internal walls and floors extend the time of indoor temperature. The specific method is to use the material of extruded boards.
Since the advent of extruded boards, they have been used in various fields of construction. Especially in the past few years, extruded boards have become essential materials for high and low-rise buildings, which is due to their own thermal insulation characteristics.
For the use of extruded boards, internal and external wall insulation usually has various practices, which depend on the surface construction process of the external wall. There are tile pasting, external wall paint, etc. In short, different external wall processes will also make the construction process of extruded boards different. And internal walls are also used, but at present, internal wall use is not too much, mainly concentrated on floor heating.
From the perspective of energy conservation, extruded boards on external walls can prevent cold air or hot air from directly contacting the wall, thereby ensuring a certain gap between the wall temperature and the external temperature. From a more colloquial perspective, it is putting a piece of clothing on the external wall, and this piece of clothing has a certain resistance to both cold and heat of the external wall. In addition to having a certain resistance effect on outdoor temperature, extruded boards themselves also have hydrophobic effect, which plays another layer of barrier role against the external rainwater environment. Therefore, from the above effects, extruded boards indeed have the effect of external wall insulation.
And let's look from the indoor perspective. In winter we will turn on the hot air conditioner, in cold weather we will turn on the hot air conditioner. And energy conservation is to make the indoor temperature reach the comfortable temperature we adjusted, and let it maintain this temperature for a longer time. So we can adopt internal wall extruded board insulation, and the floor also uses extruded board insulation (that is, floor heating). Under the condition of whole house insulation, it is like we make a room have the effect inside a refrigerator. Whether keeping cold or keeping heat, it can play a better constant temperature role. In such a room, if the original constant temperature time was 5 minutes, then after using extruded boards, its constant temperature time can be greatly extended.
If we talk from the contact surface perspective, outdoor temperature contacts extruded boards, it needs to penetrate 5cm thick extruded boards to touch the wall, and this process is not easy. Not to mention it can cool down, but external temperature penetrating extruded boards and then penetrating the wall requires a longer time. Of course, currently we do not have specific data to support this statement. And for indoors, extruded blocks the contact between air and the wall, then it will not quickly cool down or heat up, because we can analyze from the point of air contacting the wall and extruded board contacting the wall. Concrete walls, whether hot or cold, their own heat and cold transfer properties are relatively obvious. It can be said that outside is hot, home is hot; outside is cold, home is cold. Through extruded boards for internal and external wall barrier, letting air contact extruded boards can well control temperature, and save energy from this aspect.
