Cable Trays Can Be Used for Line Protection

When wiring, using a metal structure called cable tray can effectively protect cables. Cable racks are used to lay a large number of cables in an orderly and efficient manner, especially over long, straight distances. It is also used to classify cables and connect them together for the same purpose. Select and use appropriate materials and shapes according to the installation location and purpose. Cable racks are used in relatively large facilities such as stations, public facilities, factories, research laboratories, etc. By using cable racks, a large number of cables can be laid in an orderly and efficient manner. This not only ensures the safety of the facility, but also improves operability. It also helps reduce accidents and failures by laying cables with the same purpose, such as power cables and signal cables, together.

Cable racks can be installed indoors or outdoors, but it is better to install after considering various factors such as avoiding damage to the cables themselves, ensuring work efficiency and safety, and considering design. Cable racks are made of a variety of materials, including galvanized steel sheet, aluminum, reinforced plastic and synthetic resin. Any material can be used for indoor installation, but for installation outdoors or where gas may be generated, please select environmentally friendly materials such as galvanized steel or reinforced plastic respectively. Ladder type is suitable for vertical installation because it is easy to fix cables and has high visibility. Tray type is suitable for horizontal installation because the cables themselves can be fixed and kept stable. In addition, since cables can be hidden, designability can be ensured, and shielding effects can be expected to a certain extent in various exposed environments

. Conversely, due to the lack of cable visibility, work efficiency such as maintenance may decrease. To install cable tray, push the plug into the ceiling and hang the bolts. Then install the cable rack, center rack, separator and end cap. Also consider the distance to support the cable rack, the bending radius of the cables, the wiring method, and the fixing method. If the cable rack is made of steel, it should be supported at intervals of 2m or less, and if it is other materials, at intervals of 1.5m or less. Where straight lines and other shapes are connected, support near that point and near the edge of the cable rack. When installing cable racks vertically, please support at intervals of 3m or less. However, components such as wiring rooms can be supported at 6m or less. Horizontal positions should support cables at intervals of 3m or less, and vertical positions should support cables at intervals of 1.5m or less. Exceptions are when the cable rack is tray type or runs in a double-layer ceiling. When laying cables vertically, avoid concentrating the weight on one lug. In addition, power cables basically cannot be stacked, and partitions are needed between strong and weak current wires.
