Rock wool board how thick to choose is actually a broad question. And saying so is because there are too many thickness specifications for rock wool. At least within 5-20cm, custom production can be carried out. But if you ask how thick is suitable to use, then first you need to know what you want to use it for. For example, used in partition walls, used for roofs, or used for external walls. At different use locations, the thickness you need is different, because rock wool can also be used to grow tomatoes.
As for thickness, you can first look at your use location. After determining the use position, measure the size of the use position, and choose according to the position width. For example, if you use it in the wall, then what is the wall width you need, is it a 24 wall or a 12 wall, and what is your wall material, is it wooden board, stainless steel, cement board or just a simple brick wall. But no matter which one, after you determine the wall thickness, we subtract the thickness of the cement board or wooden board, then that is the thickness you want. For example, if you use a 1CM thick cement board, then 12 wall minus 2 1cm can get the required thickness, and this is the thickness you really need.
