Rock wool board production

Rock wool board is made of rock wool fibers through cotton collection, bonding, paving, densification, curing molding and then pleating. The internal fibers of rock wool board have the characteristic of interlacing with each other, overall presenting the characteristics of low bearing capacity and high porosity. Rock wool insulation material refers to a high-strength light-weight and high-temperature resistant flame-retardant new type of natural light-weight fireproof inorganic synthetic insulation composite light-weight material. At present, rock wool board has completely been used as a new type of basic building material in China and directly applied in large quantities in the field of modern engineering construction. Rock wool board is another plate-shaped product made by adding thermosetting resin adhesive granules and water repellent mixed with appropriate amount of starch respectively when using high-pressure sandblasting or high-pressure blowing molten rock wool fibers, through high-temperature pressing, curing, cutting and forming etc. Building rock wool products generally have the following characteristics:

(1) Excellent fire protection (combustion performance Grade A);

(2) Good thermal insulation and sound absorption functions (thermal conductivity of rock wool board is generally less than 0.041 W/mK);

(3) Strong vapor permeability;

(4) Low water absorption;

(5) Excellent dimensional stability;

(6) Good chemical stability;
